Under different circumstances, the actions of an unidentified man in China would likely be considered noble.
As it stands, few men would trade places with a guy who turned out to be cheating on his, uh, somewhat angry wife and her friend.
The man in eastern China was filmed by bystanders lying on top of his alleged mistress in the street, protecting her from the flying fists and feet of his miffed wife and friend, often wailing as the blows rained down. Witnesses to the assault in Fanchang county of Anhui stood by and watched as the wife and friend pressed the attack, trying to rip the clothes off both victims.
The spurned wife caught her cheating hubby with his mistress and took the law into her own hands. But the adulterous man wasnt about to abandon his lover, climbing atop the terrified woman to protect her as the wife and friend went to work, landing punches and even kicks to her head.
At one point, the wife rips off her husbands necklace and whips him with it. Then she grabs a womans high-heeled shoe and starts smacking him with it.
Eventually, there is a lull in the action and the husband yells for bystanders to call the police before dragging off his now half-naked mistress.
When cops arrived, according to the report, the victims were no longer on the scene.
