No New Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Reported in Hunan









During the 24 hours of February 27, no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Hunan. No new victims were in critical condition, no new patients died of the disease, and 27 more patients were discharged from hospitals. 

Among the newly-recovered cases, 8 are in Changsha, 4 in Xiangtan, 2 in Shaoyang, 6 in Yueyang, 2 in Changde, 2 in Yiyang, 1 in Chenzhou, and 2 in Loudi. 

As of 24:00 on February 27, a total of 1,017 cumulativeconfirmed cases had been reported in Hunan, including 146 cumulative in critical condition. Four people had died, and 820 patients had been discharged from hospitals. There are now 18 in critical condition and 193 treated in hospitals. 

Among the confirmed cases, 242 are in Changsha, 48 in Hengyang, 80 in Zhuzhou, 36 in Xiangtan, 102 in Shaoyang, 156 in Yueyang, 82 in Changde, 5 in Zhangjiajie, 59 in Yiyang, 39 in Chenzhou, 44 in Yongzhou, 40 in Huaihua, 76 in Loudi, and 8 in Xiangxi. 

Among the patients who remain in critical condition, 7 are in Changsha, 4 in Zhuzhou, 2 in Shaoyang, 2 in Changde, and 3 in Loudi. 

Among the dead, there are two in Changsha, and one in Shaoyang and Yueyang each. 

Among the patients who were discharged from hospitals, 172 are in Changsha, 38 in Hengyang, 56 in Zhuzhou, 33 in Xiangtan, 92 in Shaoyang, 113 in Yueyang, 69 in Changde, 5 in Zhangjiajie, 58 in Yiyang, 34 in Chenzhou, 42 in Yongzhou, 40 in Huaihua, 60 in Loudi, and 8 in Xiangxi. 

A total of 26,851 close contacts have been traced, among whom 632 are under medical observation while 26,219 others have been discharged. 



Chinese health authority said Friday it received reports of 327 new confirmed cases of novel coronavirus infection and 44 deaths on Thursday from 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.

Among the deaths, 41 were in Hubei province, two in Beijing and one in the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, according to the National Health Commission.

Another 452 new suspected cases were reported Thursday, said the commission.


Also on Thursday, 3,622 people were discharged from hospital after recovery, while the number of severe cases decreased by 394 to 7,952.
