First panda twins of the year born at Chengdu research base

Amid all the bad news about the coronavirus, at least humanity can take some joy in joining together to welcome a pair of pandas into the world.
The first panda twins of the year were born on Tuesday at the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda in Chengdu.

17-year-old Fuwa gave birth to two healthy male twins, the center said, noting that the panda has now given birth five times to eight babies over the years.

Shes really putting the future survival of her species on her back.
