Latest update! Hunan's low-risk county counties and cities expanded to 105

Today, in accordance with the COVID-19 epidemic situation in the past week, the classification list of the epidemic risk levels in counties and cities was adjusted.

There were no confirmed cases reported within 14 days in 9 counties, including Nanxian, Huarong, Junshan, Yunxi, Linxiang, Shimen, Anxiang, Yueyang, and Pingjiang. But taking into consideration it is neighboring Hubei, in order to strengthen precise prevention and control, the risk level was increased from low risk level to medium risk level C.
As of 24:00 on March 1, the province's low-risk level counties (county-level cities) and  urban districts around Hunan have expanded to 105. The provincial joint prevention and control mechanism and experts emphasized that even in low-risk areas, the prevention and control work cannot be relaxed.




During the 24 hours of March 1, no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Hunan. No new victims were in critical condition, no new patients died of the disease, and 23 more patients were discharged from hospitals. 
Among the newly-recovered cases, 7 are in Changsha, 7 in Zhuzhou, 4 in Shaoyang, 4 in Yueyang, and 1 in Yongzhou. 
As of 24:00 on March 1, a total of 1,018 cumulativeconfirmed cases had been reported in Hunan, including 147 cumulative in critical condition. Four people had died, and 876 patients had been discharged from hospitals. There are now 17 in critical condition and 138 treated in hospitals. 
Among the confirmed cases, 242 are in Changsha, 48 in Hengyang, 80 in Zhuzhou, 36 in Xiangtan, 102 in Shaoyang, 156 in Yueyang, 82 in Changde, 5 in Zhangjiajie, 60 in Yiyang, 39 in Chenzhou, 44 in Yongzhou, 40 in Huaihua, 76 in Loudi, and 8 in Xiangxi. 
Among the patients who remain in critical condition, 6 are in Changsha, 4 in Zhuzhou, 1 in Shaoyang, 2 in Changde, 1 in Yiyang, and 3 in Loudi. 
Among the dead, there are two in Changsha, and one in Shaoyang and Yueyang each. 
Among the patients who were discharged from hospitals, 185 are in Changsha, 46 in Hengyang, 69 in Zhuzhou, 34 in Xiangtan, 99 in Shaoyang, 119 in Yueyang, 72 in Changde, 5 in Zhangjiajie, 59 in Yiyang, 35 in Chenzhou, 43 in Yongzhou, 40 in Huaihua, 62 in Loudi, and 8 in Xiangxi. 
A total of 26,893 close contacts have been traced, among whom 350 are under medical observation while 26,543 others have been discharged. 



Chinese health authority said Monday it received reports of 202 new confirmed cases of novel coronavirus infection and 42 deaths on Sunday on the Chinese mainland.

All the deaths were in Hubei province, according to the National Health Commission.

Meanwhile, 141 new suspected cases were reported, said the commission.


Also on Sunday, 2,837 people were discharged from hospital after recovery, while the number of severe cases decreased by 255 to 7,110.
