Villagers dig up 500-year-old tomb, find well-preserved corpse

After spending the last five centuries underneath the ground, a mans corpse was recently dug up by villagers in Anhui province, only to deemed of no real significance by local authorities.
The villagers in Huaining county happened upon the mans coffin while leveling off some ground. Inside was a body that certainly doesnt look a half-millennia dead.
However, the tombstone marked the man as being buried during the reign of the Zhengde Emperor (1505-1521) in the Ming dynasty.

The local cultural relics bureau has confirmed this dating but has said that this was just an example of an ancestral tomb and of no real archaeological value.
