China reports no new coronavirus deaths for first time

In a major milestone in the Covid-19 pandemic, China has reported no new coronavirus deaths for the first time.
Thats no new deaths over the past 24 hours in Hubei province or Wuhan, the virus epicenter that was once reporting more than 100 deaths a day.
Chinas official death toll stands at 3,340. On Saturday, the country mourned those who had lost their lives in the epidemic with three minutes of silence.

The number of domestic coronavirus transmissions dropped to zero in March in China as authorities switched their focus to containing infections arriving from abroad, eventually leading to a blanket ban on all foreigners.
Imported cases continue to trickle in, however, with 32 new confirmed cases being confirmed on Monday. All involve travelers arriving from overseas.
The worldwide death toll of the Covid-19 virus is above 75,000 with the number of deaths in the United States surpassing 10,000.
US intelligence agencies have accused China of faking its coronavirus numbers, a charge that Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying responded to by going off a 10-minute tirade against American officials.
