Chinese national scolded by Ghanaian cops for violating lockdown

Amid reports of Chinas mistreatment of African nationals in Guangzhou, a video has started trending in Africa showing Ghanaian police scolding a Chinese national for violating coronavirus lockdown.
In the video, the officer berates a Chinese man along with his companion for going out in violation of a lockdown imposed by President Nana Akufo-Addo.
The officer even goes on to blame China for the pandemic, according to a Ghanaian online news portal.

So far, Ghana has reported a total of 1,042 Covid-19 cases and nine deaths.
This video was evidently filmed ahead of Akufo-Addo lifting lockdown restrictions in major cities like Accra and Kumasi on Monday.
The footage has touched a nerve with many in Africa following numerous reports in the past month of Africans in the city of Guangzhou being forced to sleep on the street after being evicted from their homes and hotel roomsbeing turned away by businesses, and being made to take coronavirus tests despite having no recent travel history.
Last week, a number of African countries summoned their Chinese ambassadors to explain the reports. China has maintained that it is treating all nationalities the same.
