on COVID-19 Cases in Hunan





During the 24 hours of April 21, Hunan reports no new confirmed COVID-19 cases.

As of 24:00 on April 21, a total of 1,019 cumulativeconfirmed cases had been reported in Hunan, 4 people had died, and 1,015 patients had been discharged from hospitals.

During the 24 hours of April 21, no new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases were reported in Hunan. There were no new cases out of quarantine. One is under medical observation, who is an imported case.

A total of 27,413 close contacts have been traced, all of whom have been discharged.



Chinese health authority said Wednesday that it received reports of 30 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on the mainland Tuesday, of which 23 were imported.

The other seven new cases were domestically transmitted, the National Health Commission said in a daily report, noting that all were reported in Heilongjiang province.

No death was reported Tuesday on the mainland. Three new suspected cases, all imported ones, were also reported.


A total of 28 patients of COVID-19 were discharged from hospitals Tuesday on the Chinese mainland.


Of the total imported cases, 799 had been discharged from hospitals after recovery, and 811 were being treated in hospitals with 41 in severe conditions, the commission said.

No deaths had been reported from the imported cases.
