During the 24 hours of May 11, Hunan reports no new confirmed COVID-19 cases.

As of 24:00 on May 11, a total of 1,019 cumulativeconfirmed cases had been reported in Hunan, 4 people had died, and 1,015 patients had been discharged from hospitals.

During the 24 hours of May 11, no new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases were reported in Hunan. There were no new cases out of quarantine. There were no people under medical observation.

A total of 27,414 close contacts have been traced, and among them one is under medical observation.




Chinese health authority said Tuesday that no new domestically transmitted COVID-19 cases were reported on the Chinese mainland on Monday.

One imported case was reported in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

Also on Monday, one new suspected case imported from abroad was reported in Shanghai.

No deaths related to the disease were reported.


On Monday, 27 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery, while the number of severe cases increased by one to 10.



According to statistics from Johns Hopkins university in the US, as of 6:32 PM Beijing time on May 12, there were 4168,427 confirmed cases of COVID-19 worldwide, 51,660 more than that at 16:32 PM yesterday, and 285,445 deaths. The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the United States was 1346163, and the total number of deaths was 80297.
