During the 24 hours of April 29, Hunan reports no new confirmed COVID-19 cases.

As of 24:00 on April 29, a total of 1,019 cumulativeconfirmed cases had been reported in Hunan, 4 people had died, and 1,015 patients had been discharged from hospitals.

During the 24 hours of April 29, no new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases were reported in Hunan. There were no cases out of quarantine. There were no people under medical observation.

A total of 27,413 close contacts have been traced, all of whom have been discharged.

Chinese health authority said Thursday that it received reports of four new confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland Wednesday, all of which were imported cases.


Three suspected cases were reported in Shanghai, all of which were also imported.


No deaths were reported Wednesday on the mainland, according to the commission.
