During the 24 hours of May 31, Hunan reports no new confirmed COVID-19 cases.

As of 24:00 on May 31, a total of 1,019 cumulativeconfirmed cases had been reported in Hunan, 4 people had died, and 1,015 patients had been discharged from hospitals.

During the 24 hours of May 31, no new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases were reported in Hunan. There were no new cases out of quarantine. There were no people under medical observation.

A total of 27,415 close contacts had been traced, and among them, one is under medical observation.



The Chinese mainland reported 16 new imported COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the total number of imported cases to 1,756, the National Health Commission said Monday.

Among the cases, 11 were reported in Sichuan province, three in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, and two in Guangdong province, the commission said, adding that no new suspected cases were reported.

No deaths related to the disease or new suspected cases were reported, according to the commission.


Three COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery on the Chinese mainland Sunday.


Of all the imported cases on the mainland, 1,694 had been discharged from hospitals after recovery, and 62 remained hospitalized.

No deaths had been reported from the imported cases.


There were 76 patients still being treated, the commission said in its daily report.
